The bell was cast in 1932 in memory of parishioner B.R. Perkins who died in 1914. My wartime memory is ringing the bell on VE Day (Tues 8 May 1945) and VJ Day (15 Aug 1945). My father gave me instructions how to peal the bells.The bell has since been removed and the tower remains disused. Where is the bell?
